DEXTRADE Žilina, s.r.o. is a successor of DREVOEXPORT, EXPORT-IMPORT, spol. s r.o. having its seat in Žilina, which has been established in late 1991. The original name of the Company was based on the intentions of the founding Company members expressing its orientation in the future. However, in the recent years the main part of our Company‘s business has shifted to other areas, therefore we decided to change the name of the Company as of 1 September 2006 to avoid confusion of our customers and the public.

We make efforts to provide qualified commercial and technical services at a professional level to every customer. The staffing and qualification of workers in the Company is adequate to achieve this goal.

Since its establishment, the Company has been able to respond flexibly to market demands in spite of increasing pressures of the competitive environment. After the accession of Slovakia to EU, there is a natural movement of capital and a different approach of some foreign companies in their views of movement of goods within the single European market. During the term of its operation, our Company managed to succeed in placing several foreign brands on the Slovak market, creating a good baseline position for many international suppliers to strengthen the position of their brand on Slovak market.

• KERROCK – artificial stone by KOLPA Novo mesto, Slovenia
• HELIOS – BORI, SPEKTRA, TESSAROL products by HELIOS Domžale, Slovenia
• JOWAT – glues by JOWAT GmbH, Detmold, Germany

As agreed with foreign suppliers, some of the trademarks outlined above and some business operations related thereto have been allocated to new commercial companies with a majority interest of the foreign investor (Leitz - nastroje spol. s.r.o., HELIOS Slovakia, s.r.o.).

Nowadays, DEXTRADE Žilina, s.r.o. has a team of skilled sales managers available, able to propose and find solutions to client’s requirements. Specialised advice and a good customer service are a must. Staff at the Company headquarters and its branches in Pezinok, Topoľčany and Sabinov is available for our customers. We are glad to discuss specific requirements directly visiting our client.

Initially, the core focus of the Company in terms of commodities covered only a part of the wood-processing industry. Our business operations have gradually expanded also to other areas. Today the Company has its customers also in the hardware and kitchen utensils retail and wholesale business, machinery industry, minor and major construction business and well as in trade with building materials.

The Company started to develop a new business in 2006 – design, delivery and assembly of children’s playgrounds. This activity is developed in cooperation with our Latvian partner – KSIL Baltic, Riga.DEXTRADE Žilina, s.r.o. supplies a broad range of materials and products that help our clients create cosier home and living. Main products offered by our Company include:

Our main suppliers are companies from Slovenia, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland or as far as from Russia or Latvia.

Our Company strives to promote good quality for reasonable price. Our goal is not to deliver the cheapest materials of doubtful quality to our clients. In cooperation with our suppliers, we try to maintain an established quality standard. We believe that our consumer deserves quality and will be able to appreciate it sooner or later.
